Alamo Community Church has been open and serving its community since 1919. Current Pastors, Hugo & Margarita Martinez, started their Pastoral journey as Un Paso de Fe Ministerios in Alamo, Tx in 2009. Years later in 2017, by divine connection, Un Paso De Fe was adopted and taken in by Alamo Community Church. Since then, we have worked with great effort to support and bring our community together. Making events such as; Free health drives, Kids Bible School, and A food pantry for the elderly and for the community. With these events and more, we strive to do our best for the city we call our home. We also continue to preach the Word of God with our Radio program, Radio Vida 1290 FM, every Thursday from 9pm to 10pm. During these times you may call and ask for prayer, send a petition in, or just say Hello to someone that is listening. Through this program we have been able to reach many lives. People from prisons have reached out to us to say that listening to this program gave them hope in that dark place and helped them get closer to God. This is our mission, To preach and share the news that Jesus is our savior and he seeks a relationship with all of us.

 

As said before, we also try to reach the hearts of young children by having fun events for them, these will be posted for the community to see. Every year for Christmas, we work to show them what the true meaning of Christmas is. We make candy bags for all the kids in the community and we send bags to places like, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Reynosa and soon many more.

 

We do all this to show that Jesus is in our hearts and we continue to love our neighbor just as he told us to.
